Description

Explosion protected Ex d IP65 substations generally consist of a flameproof high tension and low tension enclosures and a dry type Nitrogen pressurised transformer tank assembly.

Substation can also be supplied with an integral 11kV section circuit breaker thus reducing the need to have a separate item of equipment and the interconnecting high voltage cabling.

Depending on customer requirements, substation bases can be either skid type, rubber tyred, railway  design or crawler track mounted with optional hydraulic drives powered from PTO’s fitted to diesel powered mining equipment.
