In a milestone for the Australian mining industry, ATF Mining Electrics recently completed the electrical systems for the first 55 tonne Petitto Mule Longwall Shield Retrievers imported into the country.

Two turnkey electrical packages, by specialist supplier ATF Mining Electrics, were recently delivered halfway across the world to Germany and installed on two roadheaders.

ATF Mining Electrics recently completed an 11kV underground switchboard providing operator safety against internal arc faults as tested to Annex A of AS62271.200.

The switchboard was custom manufactured to meet the requirements of a Colliery in the Lithgow area for their 11kV Pitbottom Distribution project to meet the expectation of the NSW DPI.
